Stanley Underwood, USATF Officials Hall of Fame Inductee
Stanley Underwood, USATF Master Official, was inducted into the USATF National Officials Hall of Fame at the USATF Annual Meeting in Indianapolis. Underwood has been a lead vault official in many NCAA National Championships for Division 1 and Division II; he participated in three USOC Olympic Trials beginning in 2000 and he was the Head Judge for the USATF National Indoor Championships in Atlanta, Manhattan, and Boston for five years.
In addition, Underwood has been Officials Certification Chair for the Tennessee Association/USATF since 2000. He was also inducted into the Knoxville Track club Hall of Fame earlier in 2009.
Finally, he served as Coordinator of Officials at the University of Tennessee for fifteen years and now serves as Technical Coordinator.
